Elect Lady Shannon F. Long
Elect Lady Shannon Long is originally from the Republic of Panama. She re-located with her family to Brooklyn N.Y. In 1988. She joined the U.S. Army in January 1997 where she obtained an Associate Degree in General Studies, a Bachelors Degree on Psychology and is currently pursuing her Master Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling. Elect Lady finally accepted her calling while deployed to Iraq in 2006 and set out to counsel and educate young women and spread the Gospel while she was deployed. Upon her return she relocated with her family to Fort Wainwright, Alaska where she served as an Adjutant to First Lady McCormick and president of the Young Women of Valor. She deployed to Iraq in 2009, where she was blessed to testify and teach the young women not only in the military, but also DoD civilians about God's wonderful word of salvation. With the vision and mission that God gave to Pastor Long, she put her heart, mind body and soul into the work. She received ye another call to military duty in June of this year that took her to Afghanistan. With a heavy heart, having to leave family and House of Worship. This deployment experience was different from all the others. Even in the mist of uncertainty each day, God kept her and let her known that He desires one hundred percent. She returns with a new YES! … More determined than ever to do God's will as He unfolds His plan and purpose for House of Worship and the Long Family. Elect Lady Long loves the Lord and is committed to teaching what doth saith the Lord’; willing and ready to go where God leads. Pastor Long and Elect Lady Shannon Long are the proud parents of three sons, Stephen, Markus and Andrew Jr.
